MADRID ARE PREPARING BID FOR MARTINEZ

Spanish champions Real Madrid are preparing a big bid to lure Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan acccording to popular Italian media outlet Tuttosport. It was revealed that the Argentine international could be sold by the Italian football giants to ease their financial crisis.

Italian football clubs like Inter Milan and Juventus are in trouble with their finances and they could pay for it by selling some of their best players.

23-year-old Martinez has been a huge success in Italian football following the series of impressive performances for the club and he has a lot of suitors on the European football scene.

ROMA WILL FIGHT TILL THE END

Italian international Lorenzo Pellegrini is adamant that AS Roma will fightagainst Manchester United till the end of their Europa League semi-final tie. Pellegrini said this while fielding questions from Sky Sport Italia reporters in the aftermath of the heavy defeat suffered by his Italian football team at the end of the first leg played at the Theatre of Dreams last night.

Pellegrini scored for AS Roma but his goal was not enough for the Italian football team who succumbed to a 6-2 defeat to Premier League outfit Manchester United. According to him, Roma will fight till the end of the tie with the team needing at least four goals to secure a berth in the Europa League final as long as they don't concede any goal.

JUVE CAN'T SELL DYBALA –DI LIVIO

Italian football giants Juventus can't sell Paolo Dybala according to one of their former players. Ex-Juventus midfielder Angelo Di Livio is certain that Dybala has a lot of quality to offer the Old Lady. According to him, the petite Argentine national team forward could be a key player for Juve in the future.

Dybala will have a year to run on his present Juventus contract and he has been linked with a move away from the club.

The Argentine player came close to moving to the Premier League in the past. Dybalaalmost signed for Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United at different times before he opted to stay and fight for his place at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.

INTER EXTEND LEAD DESPITE DRAW

Italian Serie A leaders Inter Milan were able to extend their advantage at the summit despite the draw at Spezia on Wednesday. Inter Milan and hosts Spezia played out a 1-1 draw with the two goals coming in the first half.

Diego Farias gave Spezia a shock lead inside the first 15 minutes but they were unable to hold on for the rest of the first half. Brazilian attacker Farias is on loan at Spezia from fellow Italian football top flight team Cagliari.

Inter Milan levelled proceedings through Croatian international player Ivan Perisic. Perisic equalised for the Nerazzuri six minutes from the interval, which ensured that the two teams went into the halftime break on level terms.

PEREZ RULES OUT RONALDO

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has provided an update on the reported interest in Juventus attacker Cristiano Ronaldo. The 36-year-old has been heavily linked with a return to Real Madrid whom he left to sign for Juventus three years ago.

Ronaldo signed for Juventus in the summer of 2018 after spending nine years with Real Madrid. Italian champions Juventus were said to have paid around €100m to secure the signing of Portuguese national team skipper Ronaldo from Madrid.

MAN CITY TARGET UNDECIDED ON FUTURE

Sassuolo midfielder Manuel Locatelli is not sure of what the future holds as he continues to be linked with the big clubs on the European football scene. The Italian international has been linked with clubs like Italian Serie A giants Juventus and Premier League club Manchester City.

Locatelli is a former AC Milan and he spoke to Sky Sports Italia about his future and the Italian national team. On his future at Sassuolo, Manuel Locatelli said he's not sure if this season would be his last at Sassuolo.

Italian football heavyweights Juventus are reportedly keen to sign a Premier League player on a free transfer this summer.

Spanish playmaker Juan Manuel Mata is a Premier League player having represented the duo of Chelsea and Manchester United over the last one decade in the English top flight.

Juan Mata will be a free agent this summer when his Manchester United contract expires as the Red Devils are not expected to prolong his stay at the Theatre of Dreams. Manchester United have the option to keep Juan Mata at the club for an extra year as part of the clause in his contract but there's no indication that the club would activate that clause.
