The 21 year old Serbian defender of Manchester City, Matija Nastasic is the latest player that has entered the radar of the Italian club Ac.Milan.
Ac.Milan’s manager FilippoInzaghi will be trying to reinforce certain areas of his squad in the January transfer window and one of those is the defensive department which has looked especially vulnerable as it has a number of experienced players that are expected to be replaced.
MatijaNastasic at the age of 21 has already lifted the Premier League title with Manchester City but he has made a limited number of appearances with the English club in this season and a move away from the Etihad Stadium is starting to look like a plausible option.
Schalke 04 is another club interested in signing Nastasic with an offer in the region of €15 million expected to be made for the young centre-back.
Vincent Kompany, Martin Demichelis and EquilemMangala are the more preferred options of Manuel Pellegrini in the defence of Manchester City with MatijaNastasic falling behind in the pecking order.
Roberto Mancini of Inter Milan is an admirer of Nastasic and he could also be preparing an offer for the Belgian defender but Ac.Milan and Schalke 04 are the favorites on swooping in for Nastasic who has a promising future ahead of him but his career will not develop if he continues staying on the sidelines of Manchester City.
If Nastasic continues playing a substitute role in Manchester City, it would be a much better option for the defender to listen to offers from different clubs and get a chance of turning into a regular first team player and this is what would happen if he makes a move to either Ac.Milan or Schalke 04.
