Adriano Galliani says that he remains in touch with his former employee Carlo Ancelotti

AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani says that he remains in touch with his former employee Carlo Ancelotti amidst suggestions that the Real Madrid manager could return to the San Siro.

Ancelotti enjoyed a very successful spell at Milan. During his time at the club, he won several titles like the Champions League. He moved on to Chelsea in 2009. In a short span of time, he has already managed three top European clubs like Chelsea, PSG, and now, Real Madrid. He has not have a more than a couple of years at these clubs.

It looks to be the case once again at Madrid, as Ancelotti is facing the sack after having won no major titles in the second half of the season. Despite having led the club to a Champions League win last season, Ancelotti is not seen the right man for the job by Madrid president Florentino Perez. Gallaini says that he not only remains in touch with Ancelotti but also other former Milan managers like Arrigo Sacchi and Fabio Capello. There have been a lot of disgruntled Milan supporters in recent months and a return for Ancelotti will be a solution to get them back. Milan are reportedly on the verge of a change in ownership with new Asian investors coming in.

"We always said that we want to finish the season with Pippo and then see. There's a few days left then on June 1, we'll see what we need to do then make decisions.I always listen to Ancelotti. I'm always in contact with former coaches, including Arrigo Sacchi, Fabio Capello and Ancelotti," said Gallaini. It is widely thought that the experiment with Filippo Inzaghi will conclude at the end of the season. The club’s former striker has failed to provide any sort of improvement since taking over from Clarence Seedorf.
